Fourth Official Site Visit by MPRT

The fourth site visit was held on 16th December, 2021 present Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab (Permanent Secretary), Tuan Pengiran Fadly (Acting CEO) from Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Brunei including agricultural officers and other staff from Department of Agriculture and Agri Food went to visit Man Foods Farm at  Jalan Lampaki Mulaut to see the development of chili farm using fertigation system that will develop a total of 20 thousand polybags in the near future covering 2 field.

For field 1, there were a total of 3 phases for each phase totaling 2 thousand polybags. Phase 1 (2040 polybags) using steel bench, Phase 2 (2100 polybags) chili fertigation on the ground and phase 3 (1980 polybags) using steel bench. During the first harvest, the production is estimated to be 2kg per plant which can produce about 4,000 kg/harvest.
